This video is powerful and clearly isn’t symbolic of any relationships Rihanna has ever had…*cough*Chris Brown*cough*
Rihanna reminisces about love in a hopeless place
Posted in Musical interlude, Tunes on October 21, 2011 by BriannaramaCoffee Art
Posted in Titillating tastes on July 11, 2010 by BriannaramaI’m a coffee fan. My morning soy latte is a staple and my coffee machine has been a close friend for many years now. My coffee making expertise is up there but it stops with amazing taste and the basic frothy milk layer on top. I appreciate that making good coffee is already an art but these baristas have taken it to a whole new level. I’m suddenly craving a cup of caffeine infused lion.
Very Brave Bacardi
Posted in Not quite the norm on July 11, 2010 by BriannaramaThese advertisements for Bacardi had a short life in Tel Aviv before the plug was pulled. I’m not sure WHO Bacardi thought their target audience were but they would have a lost a few customers after the ‘ugly girlfriend’ campaign below. I admit I had a bit of a chuckle, but the girls in the ad probably did too.
Rango
Posted in Film buff on July 1, 2010 by BriannaramaI’d like to declare that I’m in love with a chameleon and his name is Rango. The CG-animated film Rango stars Johnny Depp as a not-so-street-smart, lizard going through an identity crisis. The Mojave Desert setting provides Rango with some interesting encounters with other wildlife. From the looks of it, the adults will be thoroughly and perhaps more entertained than smaller humans. Unfortunately, this trailer will have to keep you hooked and wanting more for QUITE awhile as it won’t be released in Australia until April 2011.
Look at your Man – Old Spice
Posted in Giggle time on July 1, 2010 by BriannaramaOld Spice is killing it with their advertisements lately causing a stior amongst the young and old. It is likely that the older generations own Old Spice as a staple in their bathroom cupboard but the icon cologne may be lost on the youngens. The Old Spice advertisements might just be changing that and they have certainly made an impact on the ladies. Check out the newest addition and for Old times sake, the original below. I’m on a horse.
Endangered Chocolate
Posted in Feed your eyes, Titillating tastes on July 1, 2010 by BriannaramaThese two words -endangered and chocolate- put together are not foreign to me. When I was growing up, there was not an ounce of chocolate in my house. When my parents finally came around to allowing any sort of chocolatey substance near our pantry, it wasn’t there for long. Usually it was icecream and it was endangered after one night, gone by the second. I digress. This post relates to a specially desgined chocolate, Walteria Living’s Endangered Species Chocolates. Made from dark chocolate, Each box contains a Pygmy Hippopotamus, Mountain Gorilla, and a Koala. They look delish! Oh yeah don’t actually shoot and eat these types of animals in real life. Curb your craving for hippo meat with this alternative.
Michael Jackson’s Final Album Cover
Posted in The freakishly famous on July 1, 2010 by BriannaramaSorry to dredge up the past but the anniversary of MJ’s death has just past reminding us all of how talented he was. This photo, known as “Michael Jackson’s Blue Eye”, was taken by a French photographer and was rumoured to be the cover shot for his last studio album. The picture is quite captivating and really shows the loneliness and sadness this man felt, which in the end killed him. I hope he’s gone to a happier place like ACTUAL Never Never Land.
